The last couple of weeks have been so exhausting. I feel as if I’ve been run over by a truck, two or three times. This is all thanks to, drumroll please, Insomnia! I’d like to give a warm welcome to Insomnia, who has reared it’s ug- I mean pretty little head. Who am I kidding, this sucker is ugly, nay, ’tis FUGLY!
It’s like there’s a switch in my brain that flicks on every time my head touches the pillow, thinking time! And I think about the most random things too! For example: Why is that drawer still open? What’s even in that drawer? Did I open it? Hulk(fiance code name) must have opened it? Why is he so lazy? CLOSE THE DAMN DRAWER! What do I do at the end of this thread of thinking, I cut it by getting up and closing the stinkin’ drawer.
Other reasons for insomnia include but is not limited to not being able to get comfortable, having to pee every 2-3 hrs, baby kicking and moving, Hulk snoring, dogs barking, too much light, too hot, too cold, not enough pillows, too many pillows, bra too tight, bra too loose, hungry, thirsty, constipated, etc., etc., the list goes on and on for miles.
Last night was the worst. Neighbors were having a party. Not just one neighbor, but 2 of them all decided they wanted to have a party last night. Awesome. Instead of being a grump about it, I SHOULD have sat on my side of the fence and joined in; “OMG that happened to me too! FUNNY!” *laugh abnoxiously loud*
Instead I got a whopping 5 hours of sleep, listening to EVERYTHING they were saying. It wouldn’t have been so bad if I didn’t have to work today…BUT I DID! I just keep on winning.
