Located at Pershing Square, 89 E 42nd Street stands a Grand building with a lot of hustle and bustle. When I visited the station, I had no idea that it was as big as it is. There is a dining concourse, fine dining spots and retail shops in addition to the tunnels that lead to subway trains, trains, and buses. This place is always packed, Later in the evening there tends to be less people, and it is no less grand. So if you’re looking for that perfect shot, evening is probably the best time to get here. I can’t say it enough, New York City is amazing. Last week I had the opportunity to visit the city for the second time ever, and guess what? I got to go back for a THIRD time! The first time I went there I didn’t get to see or do much because I was so overwhelmed and didn’t know what to do. The second time I had a little time to do some research and planning and by this last time I pretty much had a set idea of what I was going to do and how I was going to accomplish it. Surprisingly (or not so surprisingly) there was still tons of stuff to do. This time around I explored the city solo. Continue reading
I’m a west coast girl through and through. It’s a short (short for Hawaiian’s because it’s the closest piece of land to Hawaii!) 4-5 hour flight, the weather is always nice, and the time difference is not very much; it feels like my second home! I decided however, I would venture outside of my comfort zone (yikes!) and make the jump to the east coast, and see what all the hype was about.
I just got back from NYC aka “The Big Apple” and had every intention of making a fabulous post for you, my wonderful readers, right away! After a long 11 hour flight, and being passed out for about 4 hours after getting home, that obviously didn’t happen. Continue reading
