Everyday Outfit

My everyday look consists of a T-shirt and shorts, or Tank top and shorts. The weather here in Hawaii is usually hot, even in winter. Very rarely do I feel like I HAVE to wear pants. It’s a blessing and curse. I yearn for Fall weather here, and when it comes around every once in a while, I despise it, because I freeze when it’s 75 degrees. That’s my freezing point. #Hawaiiproblems

Ask anyone, I’m obsessed with pineapples. I don’t even know why, I just like them. I bought this shirt from a craft fair because it had a pineapple on it (and it said aloha), and it’s safe to say I’m in love. The shirt is made by a local company called Sticks and Stones. You can check them out HERE. Really cute stuff, and they make Hawaii themed wear for the whole family! #supportlocal

Island Life: Sea Life Park

A couple of weeks ago, I joined a few friends and took our kiddos to Sea Life Park. Sea Life Park has been around since I was a little girl. I’ve seen it go through some major changes over the years. I remember visiting Sea Life Park as a little girl. Prior to this visit, I had taken my son about a year ago, and it was looking run down.  I’m glad to say that the Park is looking MUCH better than in previous years. I don’t know what has inspired the change but, the infrastructure and attractions are getting a MUCH NEEDED makeover and update.

Island Eats: Via Gelato

Ice cream is probably my dessert weakness. I’ve never really cared for pies, cakes, cookies, or cupcakes, but ice cream…I can never turn it down!  When I was pregnant, I swear I used it as an excuse to eat a bowl every night after dinner, for that I paid two fold.  I got gestational diabetes, and my son is addicted too! (well, sugar in general).  I promise, I was a good mom and I tried to keep anything sweet out of those tiny little hands and mouth, but the sweet tooth is strong in my family.  My mom, aunty, and sister are ALWAYS eating something that can and will rot your teeth, it was no wonder that one of his first experiences with cake was with my crazy family!
